The current civil-military confrontation in Pakistan leading to 'conviction' and arrest of three times PM Nawaz Sharif shows the real ruler in Pakistan has always been the military establishment and 'democracy in Pakistan' is just an eyewash.

The establishment in Pakistan has never been pro-democracy and will never want to loose its 7 decades grip on the government affairs. They have always labelled the true leaders of the people as traitors and 'got rid of them'.

Now people of Punjab & the media have realized what is like to be victim. Because they were silent/complicit when it was happening to others, it is now happening to them as well. That being said, we still appreciate the people of Punjab for standing up to the mighty establishment

If you do not stand up to stop injustices against others when you can, you will eventually become a victim yourself too. Hope people of Punjab have realized it and will end this madness by the establishment once and for all.
